Social Media and Patient Engagement Medical Assistant

We are a plastic surgery practice looking for a bilingual hardworking medical assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have superior customer service skills and excels in a fast-paced environment. The medical assistant will work at front and back office. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following: check patients in and out, answer the telephone or respond to other inquiries, schedule appointments, check fax daily, verify insurance benefit, take before and after photos and upload to EMR, assisting consultation and in office procedures.

Essential Functions:

· Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care offered to the patients.

· Maintain knowledge of techniques, services, products and packages and be able to educate patients to convert inquiries to consultations.

· Ensure that all patients receive exceptional service and have a pleasant experience.

· Create a professional relationship with clients using good verbal and non-verbal communication. Promote return visits.

· Verify insurance eligibility

· Process and Posting payments

. Assist in exam room and office procedures

. Take before and after photos and upload to EMR

. Recording videos for social media posting

Position Requirements:

· Punctual.

· Dress professionally.

· Must be detail-oriented and have ability to multi-task.

· Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.

· Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.

· Excellent communication, listening and computer skills.

· Must be a team player, take initiative to do what needs to be done in office without resistance or question.

· Help grow social media account by generating new ideas, including filming and creating content in building social media accounts.

This position is full-time. New graduate is welcome. Spanish speaking is preferred.
