What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swimming Pool Supervisor position at Premier Pool Management, Inc.?
Premier Pool Management, Inc. has an immediate opening for a full time experienced pool supervisor with great customer service, communication and leadership skills to work our 2025 summer season. The ideal candidate will be able to start, maintain and develop relationships with clients. Applicants must be responsible, hands-on, able to multitask and train others as well as possess a valid driver's license. The pool supervisor will be responsible for 10-15 lifeguards as well as 8-12 pools. Previous experience in the pool industry is a must. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Applicants must be able to meet the following basic requirements:
- Leadership and Management Skills – Ability to supervise, guide, and manage a team effectively.
- Ensure that lifeguards open and close pools on time.
- Manage existing staff and recruit new staff as needed.
- Ability to obtain a Pool Operator Certificate.
- Create and maintain schedule for all direct reports.
- Problem-Solving Abilities – Capability to address and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Strong Communication Skills – Proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
- Time Management and Organizational Skills – Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Conflict Resolution Skills – Experience in handling disputes and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Technical Knowledge – Familiarity with pool operations, maintenance, or relevant technical knowledge (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to identify service projects.
- Complete minor service repairs.
- Obtain and maintain health department permits.
- Winterize pools at the end of the season.
- Customer Service Orientation – Ability to maintain excellent relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Adaptability – Capability to handle changes and unforeseen challenges with ease.
