Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, with a proven track record in account management and business development. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing outside sales efforts, and ensuring exceptional customer service to meet market demands. We are a fast-growing company building custom swimming pools in the Rio Grande Valley - We are part of the Premier Pools & Spas franchise which has made the INC 500 List 3 years in a row.
Duties
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals.
- Manage and mentor the sales team, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Oversee account management activities, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns that align with sales objectives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Foster strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication.
- Track sales metrics and report on performance against targets.
- Selling is also a part of this position
Qualifications
- Proven experience in swimming pool sales (preferred) or related field, with a focus on outside sales.
- Strong account management skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess market conditions and customer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively, fostering a positive work environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
