We are looking for an experienced Government Contract Specialist with a deep understanding of Corporate Aviation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing, negotiating, and executing flight contracts and reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage proposal development, terms and condition review, and risk assessment/mitigation.
- Facilitates pre-award and post award activities in support of projects.
- Receives, coordinates, and responds to internal and external requests for data pertaining to contracts in area of responsibility.
- Be the center of the workflow to ensure all required information needed to complete the contract is obtained in a timely fashion to deliver the contract to the customer.
- Administer the terms of the contract and coordinate with internal departments as required. for compliance, follow up on outstanding requests from various people within the organization; schedule and attend a variety of conference calls to discuss and resolve contract issues.
- Administer all aspects of contract financial tracking and invoicing.
- Manage routine reporting requirements as required.
- Lead contract closeout activities.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, communications, or a related field.
- Previous experience with securing and administering government flight contracts.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Negotiation best practices in both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of federal and state laws for regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of FAA requirements.
- Proficient in MS Office
