This 3rd shift position runs from 7:00 PM until completion (business-dependent) with a schedule of Sunday through Thursday. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in sanitation or janitorial roles, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to reliability.
Position Summary:
The Sanitation Maintenance Associate ensures the cleanliness, organization, and safety of our facility. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, sanitation, minor maintenance, and compliance with HAACP, GMP, SOP, and pest control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Sanitization:
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all areas, including warehouse floors, aisles, offices, and breakrooms.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, sinks, and shared spaces.
Regularly dispose of trash and recyclables per facility guidelines.
Facility Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections and minor maintenance on cleaning tools and equipment.
Report safety hazards, equipment issues, or repair needs to the supervisor.
Restock and maintain cleaning supplies.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Ensure walkways, exits, and emergency areas are clear and accessible.
Follow proper handling and storage procedures for cleaning chemicals.
Special Projects:
Participate in seasonal cleaning tasks or special projects like deep cleaning or reorganization.
Assist warehouse staff with light duties as requested.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Proven experience in janitorial, sanitation, or maintenance roles, especially in warehouse or industrial settings.
Familiarity with cleaning tools, equipment, and safe chemical handling.
Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
