Local Route Delivery Driver, Non CDL
Full time, $21.00 per hour starting wage
Premier ProduceOne is looking for highly motivated Route Delivery Truck Drivers to join our Columbus team. Our well-maintained box trucks require no CDL to operate. All routes are on same day schedules. We deliver six days a week; Saturday availability is required. Some overtime is to be expected. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
We provide our customers with fresh, quality produce, unique specialty items & unmatched service. A genuine desire to meet their needs using exemplary Customer Service skills is required. Delivery experience to include box trucks is important. You will get DOT physical certified through us!

Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver product to assigned customers using hand jacks, skids, etc., placing orders in specific locations based on customers’ needs
- Safely operate and maneuver our 24'-26' standard shift and/or automatic box trucks
- Meet established time frames while logging into our truck management software
- Use an eye for detail while monitoring quality & matching quantity ordered
- Communicate regularly with dispatcher to meet customer expectations
- Practice safety while entering/exiting vehicle and while on customers’ premises
- Work with a sense of urgency to complete route and respect customers’ time

Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- Valid Driver’s License
- Have a qualified MVR
- Must pass a DOT physical
- Available for Saturday routes
- Must be able to repetitively lift and carry 50-75 pound packages
- Work history satisfactorily performing the skills listed above
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Operate with a focus on safety
- Work with a sense of urgency in a professional manner.
- Must be able to read English
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Applicants must pass a drug test, including screening for marijuana, to be eligible for employment.
