Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Affordable Apartments Manager to oversee the daily operations of our affordable housing properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in affordable housing programs, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Manage leasing processes, including tenant selection, lease renewals, and rent collection.
- Maintain strong relationships with residents, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure properties are well-maintained and address maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and manage property budgets, including monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with team members and external partners to achieve property management goals.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and health standards.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required by regulatory agencies and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Problem solver with a high sense of urgency.
- Experience with LIHTC, Section 8, Public Housing, and/or RAD preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- 4 years of verifiable experience in property management or a related field.
