What are the responsibilities and job description for the Affordable Housing Leasing Agent position at Premier Property Management?

We are seeking a full-time, experienced Leasing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, organized and have great attention to detail.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting and handling 'Walk In' traffic
- Showing Apartments
- Leasing, marketing and public relations of the community
- Guest Card Completion
- Application processing
- Completion of required reporting to MSHDA, HUD and other government oversight departments
- Resident Retention
- Scheduling of contractors and maintenance to ensure proper apartment turns
- Walking vacant units to ensure that they are market ready
- Lease signings
Qualifications:
- Must work well in a team environment
- Problem solver with a high sense of urgency
- LIHTC, Section 8, Public Housing and/or RAD experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional customer service skills
- 2 years verifiable experience
