Community Manager –Senior Public Housing Authority (PHA)

Premier Property Management is dedicated to delivering top-tier multi-family housing and building communities where residents—and staff—feel truly at home. We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced Community Manager to lead operations at a 300-unit senior Public Housing community.
This is a key leadership role for someone who is highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional service to residents while driving operational excellence.
- Oversee the daily operations of a large senior Public Housing community (300 units)
- Supervise on-site staff, including leasing and maintenance personnel
- Drive leasing, marketing, and resident engagement initiatives
- Ensure timely rent collection and accurate financial recordkeeping
- Maintain compliance with HUD and PHA regulations; prepare and submit weekly reports
- Coordinate and monitor contractors and vendors performing on-site work
- Foster strong resident relationships to promote satisfaction and retention
- Utilize Yardi property management software for all leasing, reporting, and operations
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PHA/community management
- At least 4 years of public housing compliance experience
- Hands-on experience with Yardi is required
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- High sense of urgency with proactive problem-solving skills
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, active environment and be comfortable walking and standing for extended periods
