Senior Project Manager

As Project Manager, you will develop and manage the execution of all aspects of company-wide annual planning and strategic initiatives. You will work directly with engineering and various project teams to lead daily stand-ups, weekly planning rituals, retrospectives and postmortems. As a core member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating quarterly and annual planning rituals, communicating with all internal and external project team members, and applying your extensive expertise in project management to help organize and prioritize our strategic programs. 

You will report to the Vice President. 

Responsibilities 

• Manage all aspects of business-critical projects, including cost estimating, submitting detailed project plans, scheduling work and project cost analysis
• Lead and manage the implementation of Oracle NetSuite ERP, providing support and training to team members as needed
• Work directly with engineering and project teams to lead daily stand-ups, weekly planning rituals, retrospectives and postmortems
• Work with directly customers, factory workers and other team members to gather requirements, document acceptance criteria, and manage execution
• Author and submit RFPs, solicit bids and organize responses into executive summary packages and slide deck presentations
• Coordinate across various project teams and outsource partners to ensure timelines are clearly communicated and work is completed on time
• Train team members on project management fundamentals to help foster a culture of defining outcomes and tracking toward success metrics
• Align departments and leadership through by communicating updates and progress to all relevant teams and partners

Qualifications 

• 8 years' experience as Project Manager, preferably in manufacturing environments
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, mechanical engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
• Experience authoring detailed project plans with clear scopes, definitions of done, acceptance criteria, budgets and ROIs
• Experience implementing of multiple project management strategies including Agile, Kanban, scrum, waterfall, Gantt charts and workback schedules
• Experience working directly with engineering teams to guide daily and weekly agile sprint planning rituals
• Experience chartering new teams, including defining mission, vision, values, OKRs and KPIs
• Expertise administering modern project management and planning software and tools (e.g. Atlassian Jira, Trello)
• Experience implementing ERP/MRP software from scratch (e.g. Oracle NetSuite)
• Mastery of Microsoft Excel (can perform complex functions and maintain complex spreadsheets)
• Excellent writing and editing skills, touch type at 80 works per minute, with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation
• Familiarity with manufacturing procedures and project management principles
• Willing to share and receive critical feedback and direction directly, openly and honestly
