Premier Pump & Power is a family-owned manufacturer of industrial pumps and energy solutions. We specialize in large, custom, portable pump packages, and our products are renowned for their performance, serviceability and built-in quality. We proudly serve thousands of customers from our global headquarters in Vancouver, Washington and our new manufacturing factory in Houston, Texas.
Our product tester is responsible for testing the final products that come out of our factory and verifying they meet our standards, ensuring good, proper function prior to being shipped to the customer. You will partner with our Quality Control Supervisor to test industrial products and recognize quality issues with our product during the testing phase. We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering the highest quality products.
You will report to the Quality Control Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Test and verify functionality of products
- Understand dynamics of different departments and functions
- Check our final product coming out of assembly through a series of tests and inspections.
- Operating and checking all equipment to ensure optimal and correct data is being generated for review
- Detect and report defective or questionable material, product, and / or conditions to the appropriate departments
- Ensure quality standards and processes are used in the final assembly of our product
- Maintain records of testing information and various metrics
- Submit discrepancy reports for remediation of quality issues

While working in the factory, performing inspections and troubleshooting equipment, employees may be asked to work under varying weather conditions, operate heavy machinery and tolerate moderate noise levels.
