Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Apartment Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. This role involves managing tenant relations, ensuring property maintenance, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Duties
- Manage tenant relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the leasing process, including upselling available units and conducting property tours.
- Maintain accurate records using Yardi software for tenant files, lease agreements, and maintenance requests.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the property.
- Implement administrative procedures to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws governing residential properties.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to community standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or a related field.
- Strong customer relationship management skills with excellent phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with Yardi software is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to handle conflict management effectively while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in filing and record keeping.
- Knowledge of relevant laws pertaining to property management is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
