What are the responsibilities and job description for the LAUNDRY ATTENDANT position at Premier Resorts Management Inc?
This is an hourly position at our award-winning Hampton Inn & Suites Deland, Florida. This position requires flexible shifts, including evening shifts. Local, non-smoking candidates preferred.
BASIC PURPOSE: Process soiled linen and distribute clean linen in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe, accident-free manner, as assigned by management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers. (40%)
2. Process sorted linen utilizing the washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers, and feeder/folders ensuring finished product is inspected and meets quality standards. (50%)
3. Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition. (10%)
