Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee phases of a commercial and/or light industrial construction project from construction kick-off to completion and turnover to ensure compliance with the project schedule.
- Maintain a variety of logs and records related to work assignments and inspection activities.
- Conducts a daily log of all work performed on the site and in Procore, to include photos of the site.
- Responsible for supervision of all workers onsite, to include the foreman who is also responsible for his or her employees.
- Performs daily safety audit of the project site, documenting results and ensuring deficiencies are corrected immediately.
- Conduct preconstruction meetings with each trade contractor prior to beginning work.
- Inspect all phases of construction work to ensure construction is completed in compliance with the plans, standards, specifications, special requirements, codes and regulations.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project and future business.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- 5 or more years of experience in development, building trades, construction, and/or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Skilled problem solvers with a knack for working with people to achieve success.
- Ability to work short-term projects of nine to eleven months, involving 85% travel
- Per diem to cover food and lodging while traveling
