Boiler Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Boiler Technician. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance, ensuring that boiler systems operate efficiently and safely. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining boiler systems in various settings, with a focus on customer service and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on boiler systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct inspections of boiler systems and related equipment to identify potential problems.
• Collaborate with field service teams to address customer needs effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system status and required services.
• Work with hydraulics and HVAC systems as needed to support overall facility operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance or as an industrial mechanic.
• Candidates must have a Grade 3 City of Omaha Engineer's License.
• 1 years of proven industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Familiarity with boiler operations, maintenance protocols, and safety regulations..
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and advancements in boiler technology.

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
