Commercial Roofing Estimator

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. This role is essential in ensuring projects are completed within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather information necessary for accurate estimates.
• Utilize The Edge estimating software to create detailed cost breakdowns.
• Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Prepare comprehensive reports detailing estimated costs and any potential risks associated with the project.

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
• 5 years of experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator.
• Proficient in construction estimating techniques and methodologies.
• Proficient with The Edge estimation software.
• Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of cost control measures to maintain budget integrity throughout projects.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate pricing assessments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
