We are looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance of industrial equipment in a manufacturing facility.
This is a Contract role, lasting 18 months. Full time schedule, 40 hrs. per week, working a 2nd or 3rd shift.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
To ensure success as a Maintenance Technician, you should have advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery, excellent troubleshooting skills, and good time-management skills. Ultimately, a top-class Maintenance Technician boosts production by ensuring all production equipment functions correctly and receives regular maintenance.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Installing new production equipment.
- Servicing and maintaining equipment including 3-axis CNC mills, machine automation, conveyor systems, robots and various production-related equipment.
- Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines.
- Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
- Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
- Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
- Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
- Communicating with the production team.
- Preparing and submitting maintenance reports.
Automation Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- 2-3 years previous work experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- 1 years of CNC experience.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
- Knowledge of industrial control systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc).
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Strong computer and report writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good time-management skills.
- HS Diploma or GED is required.
- Forklift, scissor lift, and/or boom truck experience is required. Certification is preferred.
- Candidates must be authorized to work for any US employer. No Sponsorships.
