Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve profitability.
- Oversee project management initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Analyze operational processes for efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational success and make data-driven decisions.
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure cohesive operations and address any challenges promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an operations management role or similar capacity.
- Strong understanding of profit loss management principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies.
- Experience in process improvement techniques, such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Excellent strategic planning skills with the ability to foresee market trends and adapt accordingly.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or process engineering is required.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suites, Excel and Word in particular.
- Strong proficiency in operations planning programs is required, experience with JD Edwards is preferred.
- Prior experience as an Operations Supervisor in a manufacturing setting is required. Engineering background is preferred.
- Prior experience with MSHA is preferred.
