Job Summary:
The analyst provides analysis and estimating support for the Company. This position will be responsible for performing both strategic and tactical activities in order to maximize sales revenues, market share and profit margins.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Enters product information (costs, pricing, technical details) into all relevant electronic systems
- Supports customer requests for service-related queries
- Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject such as Mathematics, Data Science, Information Management or Statistics
- At least 1- 2 years of related experience
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Prioritization and multitasking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Prior experience in landscaping or construction industry a plus
- Bilingual, English and Spanish speaking preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods of sitting or standing
- Extended periods using computer and mobile phone
- Occasional walking on job sites
- Occasional stooping, bending, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
