Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Inventory Control Manager located in Olive Branch, MS. The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, implementing inventory control measures, conducting physical inventory counts, and utilizing analytical skills for inventory management.
Qualifications
Oversee the movement of materials, including receiving, monitoring, and shipping.
Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.
Manage daily cycle count program, oversee activities of personnel assigned to conduct counts. Facilitate root cause investigation and develop solutions to improve inventory accuracy.
Manage investigation of transactions to reconcile inventory discrepancies (internal or customer reported shortages / overages), initiate adjustments, provide justification and obtain signoffs for large variances from management / executive team.
Oversee receiving activities to ensure / accurate receipt and put away within required time frame to achieve contracted metrics and maximize order fulfillment.
Maintain optimal storage of product to meet operational needs, ensure accuracy of material master data, identify scrap or transfer opportunities to optimize and balance inventory among business divisions and distribution facilities.
Perform analysis that highlights opportunities to reduce aged and excess inventory, ensuring proper inventory turns in each warehouse. Collect and extract customer reported shipment issues, analyze and present to business owners, manage corrective actions to drive improvement and record results.
Communicate with inventory team to meet business goals and address personnel issues.
Report on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency, and personnel issues to upper management.
Manage the recruitment and training of new inventory employees.
5 years -Experience working in Inventory management analyzing complex data, working with cross-functional teams and leading process improvement initiatives in a fast-paced operations environment.
5 years working in Oracle
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, or related field
