Marketing Coordinator
The Marketing Coordinator position requires a creative, focused, goal-driven individual who is motivated to succeed by developing and maintaining on-going professional relationships. Our ideal candidate for this role is an experienced marketer with a strong background in content marketing, paid advertising, social media marketing, and email marketing. You must also possess excellent creative skills and be able to excel in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
This position will work closely with the Owner, General Manager, Dentists, Pediatricians, Family Doctors, and other professionals such as nurses, school health coordinators, sports coaches, Office Managers and other key personnel to develop an ongoing service relationship.
The Marketing Coordinator must develop, plan and follow a strategic marketing plan designed to expand the size and scope of the business through coordinated outreach efforts. The primary function of this position will be to ensure continued referrals, in addition to new referrals, and to serve as the liaison between the practice and the community, dental professionals, medical professional and patients.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Building and maintaining new relationships and expanding existing relationships with medical/dental professionals and their staff throughout local regions.
Building and maintaining new relationships and expanding existing relationships with our existing patient base.
Building and maintaining new relationships and expanding existing relationships within the communities we will serve.
Promoting our Orthodontic, Pediatric, General Dentistry services and Dental Assistant School; emphasizing the key differences that distinguish us from other dental offices/dental assisting schools and incorporating that into marketing and promotional material.
Develop a marketing plan.
Increase patient referrals.
Acquire "New Patients" to all brands.
Delivering promotional items to referring doctors’ offices as needed.
Planning and scheduling evening after hours events and lunches for the doctor with both established, and potential, referring offices.
Planning and executing office events and parties from inception to completion.
Publish a quarterly marketing calendar for all brands.
Establish priorities and set campaign objectives, budget, and relevant KPIs
Actively manage the online presence with social media for all brands.
Conduct basic statistical functions to demonstrate effectiveness of various campaigns.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
A bachelor’s degree (marketing and communications preferred or equivalent job experience)
Knowledge or experience within the accounting marketing or professional services marketing industry (preferred, but not required)
Two or more years of related job experience (strongly preferred)
Exceptional project management and communications skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in writing copy for marketing promotions
Demonstrated experience with social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
Consistent ability to meet deadlines
Proven experience with content marketing, social media marketing, and paid advertising.
In depth knowledge of using various social media platforms for business (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)
Familiarity with content production, basic web design, including WordPress
Software: Proficiency with Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) Adobe Creative Suite (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
OFFICE PARTCIPATION
Be an active participant in staff meetings
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Practice Owner and General Manager
