Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Systems Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on developing and validating advanced automotive systems, with an emphasis on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), requirements management, and system-level validation and verification. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing systems that meet the rigorous demands of the automotive industry, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
MUST HAVES
- 5 Systems engineering experience
- Model Based Systems Engineering (experience modeling using Matlab Simulink) – min 5 years experience
- Requirements elicitation and management – min 3 year experience
- System level validation and verification execution
Key Responsibilities :
Automotive Systems Development :
Lead the design, integration, and optimization of complex automotive systems, ensuring they meet project and regulatory requirements.Apply systems engineering principles to develop robust solutions for powertrains, vehicle dynamics, autonomous systems, or other automotive domains.Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) :
Utilize Matlab Simulink to create and analyze system models, enabling accurate design decisions and simulation of system performance.Integrate MBSE methodologies into the automotive engineering workflow to enhance design efficiency and accuracy.Requirements Elicitation and Management :
Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to define, document, and manage system requirements.Ensure traceability and alignment of requirements throughout the system development lifecycle.System Validation and Verification (V&V) :
Plan, develop, and execute system-level validation and verification activities to ensure compliance with automotive standards.Perform testing and analysis to confirm system functionality and reliability under various operational conditions.Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering within the automotive industry.At least 5 years of experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Matlab Simulink.Minimum 3 years of experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management.Proven expertise in system-level validation and verification, preferably in automotive applications.Skills and Competencies :
Strong understanding of automotive systems and components, including electrical, mechanical, and software interfaces.Proficiency in Matlab Simulink and other MBSE tools.
