disciplines. As such, the Leap Program Manager manages the entire Leap certification program, associated learning curriculum, communication, and key performance indicators. The successful candidate will be an experienced program manager, deeply committed to tech talent development and can balance the needs of multiple stakeholders to drive near-term program improvements across disciplines with the sustainability of the program.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Global Learning and Development under the Global Human Resources Department.
What You'll Do
1. Project Planning and Management
o Create and maintain a detailed project plan
o Align inputs with frontend requirements for prioritization, development, and budgeting activities
o Provide monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI) updates to core team leaders
o Create ad-hoc reports as requested by key stakeholders
2. Technical Skill Development
o Define future-focused skill requirements in partnership with discipline leads (representing each technical discipline)
o Ensure skills are linked to high-quality L&D programs and offerings
o Capture, prioritize, and notate tradeoff requirements for new certification programs and technical courses
3. Team Leadership and Coordination
o Chair and set the agenda for core team meetings
o Lead weekly meetings with the Operations Team
o Lead monthly meetings with the discipline leads
o Lead periodic meetings with cross-functional advisory teams
4. Program Operations and Maintenance
o Manage core operations related to program certifications and courses
o Review and provide feedback on courses (internal and external)
o Architect, streamline, and sustain skills certification programs
5. Communication and Feedback
o Create and lead communication plan to provide ongoing excitement and timely updates to the Leap technical community (new courses, content, etc.)
o Gather feedback to assess satisfaction and viability of the program
6. Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance
o Analyze and implement KPIs
o Manage program and course surveys and assess results
o Implement continuous improvement process initiatives
o Ensure the quality and viability of Leap processes
7. Vendor and Stakeholder Management
o Oversee vendor management, contracts, and statements of work
o Engage with key stakeholders, including senior-level executives
o Provide a 12-month rolling course quantity forecast for instructor-led programs (internal and external)
Job Requirements
What You Need to Succeed
- 3 years of experience implementing and managing learning and development certification programs (for technical professionals is a plus).
- Proven project and program management skills with the ability to think strategically for process improvements, PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Intermediate proficiency working with a Learning Management System (Cornerstone OnDemand is a plus).
- Experience with learning and development theories and best practices, including adult learning theory and learner design methodology is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, including PowerBI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; technical and non-technical, internally and externally, including communication with senior-level technical leaders.
- Self-driven - meeting project deadlines and deliverables with minimal supervision.
- Global collaboration - across functions, business units, global regions, and external suppliers; enable and drive collaboration in building L&D content.
- Attention to detail - must operate with a high level of organization, thorough and precise in completing tasks, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Innovation - be able to look for creative ways to streamline operations, remove redundancy, and improve process efficiency.
