seeking full time manufacturing and industrial professionals to support Archer Aviation's advanced manufacturing technology needs in order to launch their electric vertical take-off and landing (eVOTL) aircraft in 2025. Employees would be assigned to Archer Project and would work full time on-site at Covington, GA plant.Job Description : The PWT Process Engineer - Controls position is focused on the design and development of PWT control processes (including battery, stator and eMotor operations) for the Covington, GA plant : Manage the installation of equipment and validate manufacturing processesDefine the automation specifications and support the implementation of machines, robotics and equipment supporting the transition of battery and eMotor operations to Covington, GA in 2025. Define PLC definition and IT interfaces; maintain the efficiency of robots, machines and corresponding programmable logic controlsSupport project management and planning of PWT transition of operationsImplement manufacturing operations activities necessary to achieve volume and capacity requirements for PWT componentsLeverage STLA Manufacturing network to support Archer's eVOTOL planning, design and launch executionSupport launch readiness and driving key launch requirements / decisions; escalating issues, roadblocks, and supporting issue resolution with tools (PDCA, 5Whys, etc.).Developing and deploying best practice implementation; collaborating with other plants for cascading best practices, methods, and processes.Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Engineering Minimum 5 years of quality, manufacturing powertrain engineering or process engineering experience is requiredKnowledge and experience in vehicle process engineering or underbody process engineeringProficient in COA Software (Siemens or CATIA)Microsoft software : Word, Excel, and PowerPointMust possess outstanding teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal skillsMust be able to communicate at all levels, including with Senior LeadershipCandidate must be a high-energy, hands-on individualMust have valid Driver's licenseMust meet MFG physical requirements (generally)Work different shifts and / or work weekends, including overtime.
