Job Title : Systems Lab Technician

Location : Irvine, CA (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities :

Test Equipment Setup & Usage :

Identify and set up test equipment for functional tests of electronic systems.
Use standard equipment like oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and multimeters effectively.

Troubleshooting & Documentation :

Diagnose and document electronic failures by identifying root causes.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and product data sheets for troubleshooting.

Assembly & Fabrication :

Perform wire harness assembly, crimping, pinning, soldering, and de-soldering.

Build and fabricate special test equipment (e.g., fixtures, test boxes, harnesses)

Software Skills :

Use basic tools like MS Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.

Physical Work :

Be comfortable with physical tasks such as moving / lifting heavy equipment or boxes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Education & Experience :

A technical degree or certification in electronics (or a related field).

At least 3 years of experience as an electronics technician.

Technical Proficiency :

Familiarity with electrical testing tools (e.g., volt meters, CAN diagnostics).

Proficiency in soldering, re-work, and using mechanical tools.

Ability to fabricate and work with tools for creating custom equipment.

Soft Skills :

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Willingness to adapt to flexible hours and a focus on completing tasks efficiently.

Additional Expectations :

Passion for problem-solving and achieving results.

An ability to navigate and find solutions in undefined situations.
