We are looking for BOTH brake press and CNC operators. You must have the qualifications listed below for one or both positions. Serious Inquires Only! We are a drug free workplace requiring both drug screen and criminal background checks.
A Brake Press Operator, or Machine Press Operator, runs computer-controlled machines that cut, shape and design various materials. These press will include the flat bed press and the print press. Their main duties include troubleshooting machines for any malfunctions or irregularities, fixing machine parts as needed to ensure they operate properly and conducting quality checks on the machines.
Brake Press Operator Duties and Responsibilities
The following are the duties and responsibilities expected of a Brake Press Operator:
- Reviewing job orders to make the right adjustments to the printing machine
- Installing parts and supplies such as ink rollers, screens, printing plates and stencils according to the job specifications and blueprints
- Testing inks and paints on the printing surface to determine suitability
- Handling production of the printed materials, including the printing and racking process, to ensure it meets the specifications and is ready on schedule
- Performing maintenance tasks on the printing machine
- Troubleshooting equipment issues such as creaking noises, etc.
- Cleaning the printing press and peripherals
Brake Press Operator Skills and Qualifications
To excel at their duties, a Press Operator should have the following skills and qualifications:
- In-depth understanding of basic printing technologies
- Excellent physical strength and stamina

- Interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
A CNC Operator is a professional who sets up and maintains equipment in a process. They ensure systems run smoothly with little input from anyone else on site. CNC Operators must have an eye for detail and strong working knowledge of their machines' capabilities. In addition, they're responsible if something goes wrong while running a processing plant.
CNC Operator responsibilities include:
- Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
- Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
- Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
Requirements and skills For CNC Operator:
- Proven experience as CNC operator
- Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
- Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
- Good communication abilities
