Job Title : Environmental – Facility Support

Job Summary :

This position will support the EHS team in the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Premier Finishing EHS programs, ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities :

• Receives paint and makes sure it is tested prior to putting it into trailers. Labels material for pass / fail.
• Quarantine any non-conforming materials and reports to purchasing.
• General shipping / receiving helper for banding, staging, loading, and unloading.
• Keeps inventory of masking supplies and tape orders as necessary.
• Environmental Daily Walk of facility
• Perform facility inspections.
• Ensure proper disposal practices are met and report any noncompliance.
• Communicate with customers as needed.
• Provide daily guidance and direction in EHS programs at the employee / supervisor level to ensure a common and effective approach.
• Participates in detailed incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis.
• Maintains relevant logs and documentation.
• Ensure inspections by regulatory relationships with regulatory agencies.
• Have knowledge and enforce compliance of regulatory requirements (i.e. OSHA, Cal OSHA, EPA, SJAQD, City of Stockton, San Joaquin County, etc) including company policies and procedures.
• Ability to oversee Hazardous Waste Storage area and ensure regulatory agency compliance (i.e. labeling, containment, proper disposal, documentation, etc).
• Perform other work-related tasks as required and assigned by the General Manager
