- Secure networks through firewalls, password protection, and other systems
- Design and implement safety measures and data recovery plans
- Analyze IT specifications to assess security risks
- Inspect hardware for vulnerable points of access
- Monitor network activity to identify issues early and communicate them to IT teams
- Programming skills (e.g. knowledge of C , PHP languages) are preferred
- Professional certification (e.g. CompTIA Security , CISSP) is a plus
- Knowledge of patch management, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (e.g. TippingPoint)
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g. NIST Cybersecurity framework) and risk management methodologies
- Familiarity with public key infrastructure (PKI) and cryptographic protocols (e.g. SSL/ TLS)
- Outstanding communication and organization skills
- 100% Remote (US)
- 12-month contract
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Endpoint Security, Information Security, or a related field.
- Familiarity with financial services compliance and regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Endpoint Security or similar endpoint protection platforms.
- Strong knowledge of endpoint security principles, including threat detection, prevention, and response.
- Experience in effectively triaging vulnerability tickets, assess the potential impact on applications, and confidently determine risk levels to support informed remediation decisions.
- Proven ability to analyze and remediate endpoint vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
- Experience in incident response and managing endpoint-related security events.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- $47.1 - $47.74 /hour Pay Rate
