Responsibilities of the CO Technician
Duties will include, but are not limited to: installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, carriers, and equipment. Wiring installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of subscriber telephone systems both commercial and residential. Installation, testing, and maintenance of data circuits (T-1, PRI, ETS) in addition to DSL and ETS circuits. Evaluate needs of residential and commercial customers and promote services, able to multitask, and familiar with Microsoft Office.
Requirements of the Telecommunications Technician
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reside within 35 mile radius of Lewisville, AR
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Familiar with devices: computers, smartphones, tablets, etc.
- Customer Service Oriented
- Willingness to be on-call and work overtime when needed
- Must pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug test
- Ability to use ladder and work aloft
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work outside in inclement weather
- Ability to recognize colors
- Ability to lift 75lbs
- High School diploma or equivalent

Pay of the Telecommunications Technician
- Based on experience
- Salary: $16 - $22 per hour
Schedule of the Telecommunications Technician
- 8am – 5pm (or until the job is complete)
- Monday through Friday
- On-Call (1 week per month)
- Overtime as necessary
