Minimum 5 Years experience in Heavy Equipment Service and Repair
Premier Tech is currently seeking experienced Diesel Field Service Technicians to fill immediate openings with an Equipment Repair Service company located in the Oxnard, CA area. The ideal candidates should be able to troubleshoot and repair systems within Heavy Construction / Agricultural / Lift Equipment and should have the desire to grow with a company where they will receive advanced, on-going training and a slew of benefits as well as an unmatched work environment!
Requirements of the Diesel Mechanic / Technician
- The Senior Field Technician will be responsible for repairing of Caterpillar and/or related equipment or components, following established procedures and guidelines
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex engine, hydraulic, electrical and component systems within a piece of construction or agricultural equipment with little or no departmental supervision
- Disassemble and assemble machines/components. Recondition/repair as required
- Work overtime as required by workload and customer need
- Travel to other stores, customer sites, other dealer, and facilities for work or training
- Experience working on and repairing construction, mining, cranes, aerial lift, and agricultural equipment is required!
- Pass a Background check // physical examination // drug test // stable work history verification

Responsibilities of the Diesel Mechanic / Technician
- Troubleshoot faults and failures, make repairs to equipment
- Order parts, prepare work orders, track time, communicate changes with supervisor and occasionally the customer
- 1st shift – M-F 7:30am – 4:00pm
