Your future role
- Help identify and implement the tools needed to plan efficiently
- Maintain master data for new and existing items to support production and material planning
- Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Solutions teams to prepare production plans
- Enter project specifications into planning systems to generate raw material plans and production shop orders
- Assist the Engineering and Manufacturing teams to optimize workflow to minimize lead times and meet customer goals
- Enter and maintain procurement pricing and details to maintain production schedules
- Identify and develop process improvement
Required skills
- Experience in industrial production planning and control methods or tools
- Experience in manufacturing production operations, projects, and scheduling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with starting a new ERP system – an asset
- Background with JDE or AS400 – an asset
- Supply chain or procurement experience – an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Good attention to details
- Problem-solving skills
