Key Responsibilities

• Engage in interdisciplinary discussions regarding patient care and treatment schedules.
• Conduct evaluations for new admissions and communicate relevant information regarding potential discharges.
• Participate in staff training sessions and provide updates on patient progress.
• Facilitate communication with families and facility staff about patient goals, adaptive equipment, and any changes in status.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in conducting patient evaluations and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Knowledgeable in the use of adaptive equipment and programming, such as wheelchairs and splints.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Ohio.
