What are the responsibilities and job description for the Practice Administrator for Vascular Practice position at Premier Vascular & Interventional?
Premier Vascular & Interventional is an established growing outpatient vascular practice with multiple locations across Palm Beach County. We are seeking an experienced team leader as we continue to expand on various initiatives.
The Practice Administrator must have healthcare experience and is directly responsible for managing all administrative and operational functions associated with the practice. This includes ensuring a smooth and efficient operation, personnel management, inventory control, and patient flow, and may manage the facilities as well. The Practice Administrator will support the mission and objectives of Premier Vascular & Interventional through daily operations. Oversees the development and implementation of goals and objectives; develop and implement new office procedures as necessary to improve office flow and overall operations.
Responsibilities
- Manages staffing by interviewing, conducting departmental orientation, and evaluating ensuring optimal staffing at all times
- Assists to identify new lines of business, additional streams of revenue, and new methods to mitigate costs
- Oversee all medical operations, as well, including maintaining medical records, billing, staff scheduling, and ordering medical equipment and supplies
- Prepares reports and statistical summaries as requested
- Implement programs and procedures to improve operations efficiency
- Assists with strategic planning and resource allocation
- Works to ensure that the site is in regulatory compliance with agencies such as OSHA, CLIA and others as appropriate
- Communicates effectively
- Review and communicate practice financials on a monthly basis
- Collaborate with operations counterparts regarding practice staffing and practice needs
- Works closely with the Billing Department to ensure A/R is optimally liquidated, denials are minimized, refunds are issued, and customer service is conducted
- Must have excellent customer service and people skills
- Provides monthly reporting with recommendations or action plans
Education / Experience
- Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Master’s Degree a plus
- At least 3 years of physician practice management experience required
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare fiscal management and human resource management practices
- Ability to apply policies and principles to solve everyday problems
- Healthcare background is required
- Proficiency in a windows environment with a working knowledge of Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and the Internet is required
- Excellent project management skills. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a willingness to take ownership and drive a project to completion
- Ability to perform financial analysis involving corporate financial reports, practice billing system, EMR, with familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT Codes

Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
