Bartender

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role.
• If no experience, ability to train
• Extensive knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques
• Strong understanding of responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate tabs
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders, suggesting menu items, and providing recommendations based on preferences
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all necessary ingredients, garnishes, glassware, and supplies are readily available
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines, checking IDs, monitoring customer intoxication levels, and refusing service when necessary
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and maintain an organized cash drawer
• Engage with customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere and building rapport to enhance the overall guest experience
• Collaborate with the bar team and kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
• Stay updated on current industry trends, new cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques, incorporating them into menu offerings and specialty drinks
• Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed
