Job Overview
Front Desk Staff / Receptionists are responsible for maintaining a positive client experience in the lobby & completing administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Operations. Receptionists are expected to stay positive and professional at all times. He or she should ensure that his or her responsibilities support Premiere’s overall vision and values.
The Lead Front Desk Receptionist takes on additional responsibilities, serving as the primary point of contact for front desk operations during the evening shift. This role includes mentoring new receptionists and ensuring smooth day-to-day workflow at the front desk. The Lead Receptionist will also coordinate closely with management to improve lobby operations and customer service.
Responsibilities and Duties
Daily Duties
- Greet and welcome people as they enter the building or approach the front desk
- Answer questions and addressing any complaints brought to your attention and communicating them to the Director of Operations
- Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages
- Listen and respond to messages on the studio cell phone
- Respond to text messages on the studio cell phone
- Utilize Studio Pro Software for maintaining client accounts -- processing transactions, enrolling new students, finding class information, etc.
- Maintain positive communications and relations between the clients, owners, teachers, and students
- Stay on top of new information by reviewing & responding to the front desk document and front desk team chat messages frequently
- Keep the front desk / lobby area tidy and presentable with all necessary materials and cleaning the lobby at the end of each night
- Maintain supplies and general cleanliness of restrooms during working hours
- Interact with trial students and families and report to the Enrollment Coordinator
- Interact with first day students and families
- Take up other duties as assigned. (i.e. - handing out apparel orders, assisting in preparing recital packets, assisting at Premiere events, taking photos of classes)
- Leave a shift note for the Director of Operations containing any important information from the shift on the front desk document
- Conduct nightly closing duties & cleaning tasks
Semesterly Tasks
- Complete performance review meeting
- Participate in semesterly employee training
Yearly Tasks
- Attend annual Recital / Dress Rehearsals, Open House, and Premiere Palooza studio event
- Attend other events as assigned; expectation of at least one Studio Event as receptionist and one additional studio wide event (Trunk or Treat, Winter Showcase, etc.)
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- 85% positive (6 or 7) for Administrative Staff Service on Client Surveys
- 85% Trial Conversion Rate
- 95% Completed Trial Interactions
- Regular Attendance For Scheduled Shifts; not exceeding allowed absences
- Maintaining Positive Relationships with Clients
- Maintaining a Clean Lobby & Bathrooms
Qualifications
- General knowledge of dance studios

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
