Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating with the ability to analyze project specifications, prepare accurate cost estimates. Candidate must have strong math skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills. This position is a vital support position for our company. Time management and the ability to prioritize work load is a must.
Duties
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
- Utilize construction estimating software such as Smartbid to streamline the estimation process.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on projects to bid
- Manage bidding calendar and bid invitations
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software, particularly Smartbid
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
