JOB DETAILS
Assist in completing all shop duties in a safe and efficient manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with classes needed for safety certifications
- Attend Company compliance classes and safety meetings
- Adhere to and ensure the compliance of all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards
- Operate crane to load and unload jobs
- Operate forklift for numerous job task
- Wash equipment in wash bay
- Dress tools/equipment that are required for jobs including painting
- Sand blast equipment
- Build job boxes
- Drive pickup trucks for hotshots if needed
- Assemble, disassemble, and test company’s proprietary oilfield equipment
- Identify problems with equipment and suggest improvements
- Report all incidents to Shop Manager and Operations Manager
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment on job site if needed
- Complete any paperwork and follow all procedures
- Provide training to other team members
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must comply with all of Company’s medical, drug/alcohol, safety programs and/or rules
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Good record keeping skills, math skills and accurate measurement capability.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, and ability to prioritize.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills, self-directed and ability to work unsupervised.
- Hands-on physical type work required for position
- Knowledge of conventional oilfield equipment is recommended
- Knowledge of hydraulics systems recommended
- Knowledge of diesel motors recommended
- Knowledge of electric motors recommended
- Willingness to undergo training to increase and/or enhance skill set(s)
- Work cooperatively with other team members
- Experience with Casing handling equipment a plus
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Works in shop setting
- May be on location exposed to the elements for extended periods of time
- Job may require overtime hours, including nights, weekends and holidays

Experience:
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CDL A (Preferred)
