Busy pediatric clinic looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)for a full-time position for our fast-paced office. The ideal candidate will provide essential nursing care to patients in a clinical setting. Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM, and rotating Saturdays. Will assist medical provider with clinical aspects of medical care for children by performing the following duties:
Responsibilities
- Obtain the patient's medical history and vital signs.
- Maintain patient record files and perform clerical duties.
- Prepare the patient for examination.
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as ordered by medical provider.
- Perform routine diagnostic tests.
- Instruct patient in follow-up care.
- Participate in keeping exam rooms and lab stations clean and stocked at all times.
- Perform various other nursing duties.
Requirements
- Experience in a pediatric care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient in providing quality nursing care.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.50 per hour
