Operations Manager

Position Title: Operations Manager

Location: Lansing, MI

About the Job: We are seeking an experienced field service leader that will oversee the operations of our Mid Michigan Branch, managing employees and independent contractors and ensuring client satisfaction. Since this is a new branch, a key responsibility will be recruiting field service staff and contractors across multiple trades, then managing them to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Premiere Property Services is a one-stop-shop property improvements business focused on make-ready/turns, repairs and maintenance, and capital projects for multifamily communities. The Company has a multiple-decade history in West Michigan, recently opened a branch in Mid Michigan, and is actively pursuing geographic expansion in other markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee field service operations alongside the Branch Manager

• Recruit, onboard, and manage qualified independent contractors, including painters, flooring installers, and drywallers

• Recruit, train, coach, and manage field service staff, including construction techs, resurfacers, and carpet cleaners

• Walk jobsites to ensure quality standards are maintained

• Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures

• Ensure property safety protocols and procedures are being met

• Build and maintain quality relationships with new and existing clients

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated knowledge in multiple services offered by the Company, including construction, paint, flooring, drywall, resurfacing, and carpet cleaning

• Experience managing field service teams

• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and improve process

• Experience managing light construction projects preferred

• Experience in the multifamily housing industry preferred

• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Compensation: $70,000 – $85,000 plus annual bonus and comprehensive benefits package
