Job Summary : Premiere Property Services is seeking a Purchasing Agent to manage and coordinate the procurement of materials across multiple departments, including construction, flooring, paint, drywall, resurfacing, and carpet cleaning. In this role, you will ensure that materials are sourced in the most cost-effective and operationally efficient manner while maintaining quality standards. You will be involved in vendor management, purchase order oversight, and coordination of materials delivery and quality review.
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage the procurement of materials across multiple departments, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency
- Coordinate purchase orders for both stock inventory and custom jobs, aligning with project timelines and budget constraints
- Oversee vendor relationships, including conducting bi-annual vendor performance reviews and negotiating pricing and contract terms to optimize cost savings
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of materials, resolving any logistical challenges as they arise.
- Conduct regular reviews of material quality, ensuring compliance with company standards
- Monitor and analyze material usage and costs to improve procurement strategies and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast material needs and optimize inventory levels.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities using a purchase order system
