The Schedule
Saturday/Sunday Varied Evening/Night 8 Hour Shifts [16 Hours]
***This is a Seasonal Position starting March 1, 2025, and Ending October 31, 2024***
Responsibilities:
You will be providing Security Officer services by conducting vehicle & foot patrols to detect, report and deter unauthorized activities. You will frequently patrol inside the building, checking all residential floors, patrol the parking lots and respond to any alarms or emergency situations in a timely manner. To maintain a secure environment, you will enforce the location's security policies and procedures. When needed, you will also coordinate with local law enforcement agencies. Using a cell phone, provided on location, you will keep a running Daily Activity Report while also submitting incident reports and maintenance requests when necessary.
Requirements:
- Must have an active Maryland Security Officer License
- Must have an active Driver’s License.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively.
- Ability to drive AND walk for extended periods of time, in all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Must have a working email and cell phone.
Notes:
- Must have an active Maryland Security Officer License at the time of interview.
- Must have an active Driver’s License at the time of interview.
- Must have a clean driving record at the time of interview. You may be required to provide it at the time of the interview.
- The client will fluctuate the schedule from time to time to adjust services as needed.
