The Schedules we are hiring for:
Saturday - Wednesday 8:00am – 4:00pm
Responsibilities:
This position is for a shopping center.
You will be providing Security Officer services by conducting foot patrols to detect, report and deter unauthorized activities. You will frequently check in with property tenants and respond to any alarms or emergency situations in a timely manner. To maintain a secure environment, you will enforce the location's security policies and procedures. When needed, you will also coordinate with local law enforcement agencies. Using a cell phone, provided on location, you will keep a running Daily Activity Report while also submitting incident reports and maintenance requests when necessary.
Requirements:
- Must have an active Maryland Guard Card.
- Previous Security experience is a must.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively.
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
Notes:
- Must have an active and physical Maryland Guard Card in possession at the time of interview.
- The client may fluctuate the schedule from time to time to adjust services as needed.
