We are now seeking an IT Manager who has :
- 5 years of IT experience, preferably within the financial services industry

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day IT operations of the credit union, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of its technology infrastructure. This role involves managing Microsoft 365, patch management, the ticketing system, VMware vCenter, and IT procurement. The IT Manager will also oversee server backups, device deployments, IT vendor contracts, and disaster recovery initiatives, while supporting the IT budget and risk management framework. Additionally, this role includes assisting in managing and optimizing the credit union's banking system, Corelation Keystone, to ensure seamless financial operations and member service efficiency.
Work Arrangement :
This is a hybrid position requiring three (3) days onsite and two (2) days remote per week.
Essential Job Functions include :
Systems Administration & Security :
Microsoft 365 Administration : Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 applications, ensuring optimal functionality and security compliance.Patch Management : Oversee the implementation and monitoring of security patches for operating systems, applications, and hardware to mitigate vulnerabilities.VMware vCenter Management : Manage the virtualized environment, including performance monitoring, resource allocation, and troubleshooting.Server Backup Management : Ensure the integrity and reliability of server backups, performing regular testing and disaster recovery planning.IT Operations & Core Banking System Support :
IT Ticketing System : Maintain and improve the IT ticketing system to ensure efficient issue tracking, escalation, and resolution.Device Deployment : Oversee the deployment and lifecycle management of Windows desktops, laptops, and servers, as well as mobile devices.General IT Support : Manage day-to-day IT operations tasks and IT Helpdesk support. Collaborate with IT team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.Core System Support : Assist in supporting and maintaining the Corelation Keystone core banking system. Work with IT team members and vendors to ensure system stability and performance. Manage system updates and patches.IT Personnel Management :
Hires, reviews, schedules, trains, and monitors the work of IT personnel : conducts performance reviews; allocates resources to meet operational needs within the department; reviews and approves, denies, or modifies department recommendations from subordinates.Risk & Compliance :
IT Risk Assessments : Participate in IT risk assessments, identifying potential vulnerabilitiesand developing mitigation strategies aligned with the credit union's risk management framework.Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity : Support disaster recovery and business continuity plans, participating in testing and drills to ensure readiness.Financial & Vendor Management :
IT Budget Assistance : Assist in managing and monitoring the IT support department's budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring financial efficiency.Vendor & Contract Management : Assist in managing IT vendors and contracts to ensure compliance, cost-effectiveness, and service reliability.Hardware & Software Procurement : Assess, procure, and deploy computing hardware and software to meet organizational needs while maintaining budgetary control.Education and Qualifications
Five to eight years of related experience.A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).Desired Skills :
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and security best practices.Experience managing patching processes and ticketing systems.Proficiency in VMware vCenter for virtualization management.Demonstrated experience in hardware and software procurement.Knowledge of server backup systems and disaster recovery planning.Familiarity with IT budgeting, vendor management, and contract negotiation.Strong understanding of IT risk assessments, compliance, and mitigation strategies.Experience supporting and managing financial core systems.Fantastic Benefits :
