About the Role
The Nurse Practitioner will use clinical judgments to conduct health assessments, make differential diagnoses, and prescribe treatments. They will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans and provide education and coaching to nursing staff. The ideal candidate will have current RN licensure and NP certification, state prescriptive authority, and DEA license.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines
* Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems
* Record physical findings and formulate a plan and prognosis based on patient condition
* Collaborate with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan
* Prescribe or recommend medications or other forms of treatment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
* Master's degree in Science of Nursing or related field
* State prescriptive authority and DEA license
* CPR certification with hands-on evaluation of skills
