Located in our Wood Dale, IL facility and reporting to the Accounts Payable Specialist, our Purchasing Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering invoices and packing slips into the ERP system. This role will also provide support to the billing team by assisting with customer billing processes as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Enter invoices and packing slips into the ERP system with accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist the billing team with customer billing and related administrative tasks.
- Verify purchase order details, pricing, and vendor information to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain organized records of purchase transactions and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
- Assist in tracking orders and confirming deliveries as needed.
- Support the Billing Department with additional administrative tasks as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
- Previous experience in purchasing, billing, data entry, or administrative support preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and basic accounting or invoicing processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

This position is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.

Pay Range: $20/hr. - $28/hr.
