Nature of Work:
The Senior Account Executive, Business Development will report to the Senior Manager, Premium and Business Development. This individual’s prime responsibility will be to maximize premium ticket revenue across all KSE events. Core responsibilities to this position are the ability to prospect, build relationships with corporate customers and close high dollar premium products across all professional sports properties while exhibiting strong business acumen, positivity, professionalism, and creativity.

Examples of work performed:
  • Consistently sell all ticket products across all professional sports properties and entertainment events with primary focus on Premium Season Tickets, Suite Packages, Suite Rentals, Corporate ticket packages and Corporate Groups
  • Manage a small book of business for renewals as well as cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Create and implement unique sales strategies by understanding areas and opportunities in the market
  • Contact, schedule, and conduct virtual, in-person, and phone presentations with appropriate decision makers to deliver revenue
  • Regularly track and provide accurate reports for management detailing sales activities, pipeline status, and pending deals using CRM
  • Seek out professional networking events to develop personal brand and network
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly and annual sales, phone, and appointment goals set by the Senior Manager, Premium and Business Development
  • Work a variety of events to bring out prospective clients and service current accounts
  • Understand and be knowledgeable of all KSE ticket products
  • Keep and maintain accurate CRM notes regarding all opportunities and activities
  • Understand and continue education of current market trends across all industries

Qualifications:
Minimum
  • BS/BA degree in field or related field 
  • At least 3 years experience selling professional sports
  • Proven record of consistently achieving and surpassing revenue targets
  • Ability to manage and build a large book of business through B2B client base
  • Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
  • Considerable knowledge of sales processes and procedures.
Preferred
  • Sales of premium products for a professional sports franchise 
  • Knowledge of the Denver market.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of emotional intelligence; excellent judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Self-directed and independent with strong organizational skills with an ability to manage one’s calendar and prioritize tasks
  • Firm understanding of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment ticket products and services.
  • Knowledge of the NBA, NHL, MLS, & NLL.
  • Proficient in Microsoft CRM 

Compensation:
  • Base wage $28.85 hour 
  • Eligible for commissions
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
