Premium Appliance Installs Inc. has been a leader in appliance installation for over 10 years. We are expanding and seeking an experienced Appliance Repair Technician to join our team.
Requirements:
experience in repairing major appliances (refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washers, dryers, etc.).
Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Must own or be familiar with the necessary tools for appliance repair.
Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of household appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, washers, and dryers.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on appliances to prevent future issues.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding the status of repairs and provide recommendations for appliance maintenance.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Operate a box truck for transporting tools and equipment to job sites as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician is required.
- Strong principles is preferred.
- Familiarity with refrigerate systems is a plus.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in field service roles is advantageous.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet customer needs.
