Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers or goods to designated locations while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. The Transport Driver will operate various types of vehicles, including shuttles, limousines, school buses, and delivery vans.

Duties

• Maintain the vehicle in good working condition through regular inspections and necessary maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with passengers or clients regarding pick-up and drop-off times and locations.
• Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or goods as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations during transport.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage and fuel consumption.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any passenger inquiries or concerns during transit.

Experience

• Previous experience in shuttle driving, limousine services, school bus driving, or as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with passengers and team members.
• Experience with commercial driving is a plus; candidates must possess the appropriate licenses for vehicle operation.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when required.
