Premium Health is seeking a highly skilled versatile, and innovative IT Support Technician to join our growing team at Premium Health Center
The IT Support Specialist plays an essential role in providing technical assistance and support, and ensuring smooth operations of hardware, software, and network systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving IT issues promptly, setting up and maintaining equipment, managing user accounts and permissions, and contributing to the overall efficiency of IT operations. The IT Support Specialist possesses strong problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and a customer-focused approach to deliver exceptional support while maintaining a commitment to Premium Health’s standards of CARE; Compassion, Agility, Respect, and Excellence.
Time Commitment:
Hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Required to be on call as needed
Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
Respond to IT support requests via email, phone, or in-person, and resolve issues promptly.
Onboard new employees by setting up their IT equipment, providing necessary access, and ensuring they are equipped to begin work.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Set up and support user accounts, permissions, and access rights in various systems.
Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT infrastructure and systems.
Conduct regular system audits and perform backup and recovery operations.
Assist in the procurement and inventory management of IT hardware and software.
Create and update technical documentation and user guides.
Stay informed about new technology trends and IT best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
Familiarity with networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Compensation:
$70,000 - $90,000 commensurate with experience
