Schedule- Shifts: Various Day Shifts
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekend Coverage: May be required
- On-Call Duties: Some flexibility required
- Perform thorough cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopic equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and calibrated as per manufacturer standards.
- Document and maintain records of equipment maintenance and sterilization processes.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations in the reprocessing area.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new staff in endoscope reprocessing techniques.
- Certifications:
- Certification in Central Processing (CPD) required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sterile processing preferred.
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in endoscope reprocessing or a similar sterile processing role.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of infection control practices and OSHA standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
